Each year Cat Protection helps thousands of cats and the people who love them. We offer a range of feline care services from our purpose-designed, no-kill shelter in Newtown. We care for and rehome cats in need, educate cat owners on environmentally and socially responsible cat care, provide advice on cat health, and operate discount desexing and vaccination programs. All the cats and kittens we take in are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, health-checked by a vet plus flea-and worm-treated before they find a loving forever home. We also provide specialised veterinary care for those felines who need it; from a simple clip or dental to major surgery. Our work honours the unique relationship between people and cats.
